Fawn Mckay

Fawn McCay Brodie, was born in Ogden Utah September 15, 1915. Fawn MCKAY, who was born into the Mormon Church's First Family, used her literary talent and expertise in research to write the intriguing biographical psycho-historical study of Joseph Smith. Published in 1945 under the title No Man Knows My History, she used both. The title came from a funeral sermon given by the founder of the Church of Latter-Day Saints in 1844. He shocked those he addressed with the words"You don't know me" you never knew my heart. No one has ever been told about my story. The truth is that I'm not sure. Fawn, 29 years old was a writer. Fawn is taking on the mantle of writing since the day he began. Some have attacked him, others have praised him, a few have experimented with diagnostics. It's not that documents are lacking however they are fiercely contradictory. It's a daunting job to find these records, separating first-hand accounts from the third-hand versions and then combining Mormon narratives with non-Mormon ones into a coherent collection. This is fascinating and eye-opening. FawnBrodie was a dedicated devotee to her job. Her writings and research brought her fame around the world. Thaddeus Stephens. The Scourge of Southern (1959) The Devil Drives. Thomas Jefferson. Richard Nixon, An Intimate history (1974), posthumous.
