Michael Torres known by his artist moniker Myke Towers, is a Puerto Rican rapper and songwriter born on the 15th of January 1994. He was born in Rio Piedras Puerto Rico. His name was changed in 2017 changed his name from Mike Towers, to Myke Towers. It was done in honor of Young Kingz music group of which he is a member. The letter i on their name has been replaced with a y. Myke Towers is a part of the underground rap scene of Puerto Rico since his adolescence writing his initial compositions and freestyles on his SoundCloud account. The songs he released in 2014 Dia de cobro Por Mi Es Normal and En los Bloques made him a household name. In 2014, he gained recognition for his La Nueva Droga freestyle and rendition of Drake's song, 0 To 100.
