Kelly Clarkson, an American performer, songwriter, and actress who was crowned the American Idol competition in its initial season. She was America's Sweetheart. The victory not only propelled her to fame however, it also secured her a multi-album recording contract together with RCA Records 19 Recordings and 'S Records. In the years since her win, she's released several album studios. From these that were released, three made the US Billboard 200 Chart while other albums were just one centimeter away. She's among the most popular artists that have come out from American Idol. She experimented as she gained recognition for her different musical themes and style, and often wrote the songs herself. Because of her distinctiveness and vocal prowess, she received praise from the public as well as a variety of awards. One of her most memorable achievements is the fact that she was awarded three Grammy Awards. She also has been featured in movies and on television. She has also written the children's book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and been involved in several charities.
