Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez is a TV arbitrator of Cuban descent in the shows Caso Cerrado and Ana Polo Rules. Ana Polo Gonzalez was born in Havana Cuba and moved with her family to Miami in the year two. Born in Habana, Cuba, Ana Maria Polo hosts of the prestigious Telemundo program "Caso Cerrado" which is the first Spanish show to be nominated a Daytime Entertainment Emmy(r) Award. The show it was named the top Spanish-language show on the air at 4pm in key demos. Polo was born on the 11th of 1959, Havana Cuba, graduated from Florida International University in Political Sciences. Following her PhD from the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for nearly 20 years. Then she earned her PhD at The University of Miami, and then practiced for twenty years in Miami. Polo was first introduced to the public via television in 2001 through Telemundo's show Sala de Parejas (2001) and other shows on courts where her legal expertise was tapped. Literature Works and Accolades novel from 1958 Los Hijos Muertos won her both the Critic Prize and Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute left Spain to move to the United States in 1960. Polo has a cancer-free breast and often gives talks in order to raise funds. Polo has been an active supporter of LGBT rights throughout the course of her professional career. She is a 1987 graduate of The University of Miami School of Law and is a Florida Bar member.
